Christmas in July

July 25th, 2011 by Larry

H1GHER LEARNING, the only website in the world dedicated to Southern streetwear culture, is partnering with our brand, We Are The Process for “Christmas In July” on Saturday, July 30th. I can’t wait to see all our friends in Charleston!

Because children should have fun all year—and not just the holidays—H1GHER LEARNING and We Are The Process are banding together in an effort to raise toys for the children sponsored by Courageous Kidz, the Charleston based non-profit organization created to provide a “Safe Haven for Kids with Cancer.”

Patrons will be one of the first in the world to view the We Are The Process Summer 2011 collection. Attendees will also have the chance to purchase one of the 100 limited edition Enduro MMXII tees, the purchase of which will put them in the running for a one-of-one We Are The Process custom designed, Brooklyn Machine Works fixed gear bicycle valued at $2000.

Party-goers that donate a toy for Courageous Kidz upon entry will be eligible for discounts on We Are The Process merchandise as well.

My preconceived notions were pleasantly mistaken the following day, as I soon realized that RWSS is 50% a collection of relics (that are for sale of course), 25% surf product, and 25% lifestyle clothing. It’s as if Ernest Hemingway was a surfer and opened his own store. [...]
