Nike5 Lunar Gato [Cherry/Black-Gum]

August 29th, 2011 by Larry

Everyone of us at We Are the Process is in love with indoor soccer shoes, so when I came across this new model of the Nike5 Lunar Gato, I had to post it. What’s cool about these is that these are a new take on the popular Street Gato, with a Lunar sole! Anyone who has run with a Lunar sole knows the kind of comfort you get. Typically indoor soccer kicks can be difficult to wear for a prolonged period of time simply because the soles are thin. That’s not going to be a problem in these bright-ass, cherry-colored kicks. You can’t beat a gum sole either! Win-Win! Available now at Eastbay for $85. Read the rest of this entry »

Scoutmob Visit

August 29th, 2011 by Larry

I stopped by Scoutmob headquarters the other day to hand deliver some We Are the Process orders to the fine folk working there, including the illustrious Barry Greene (pictured above). We couldn’t be more appreciative of the support they show our brand. They’re all fans! As a token of their appreciation for my visit, they gave me one of their new tees. Check it out after the jump! We Are the Process Fantasy Basketball Trophies

August 27th, 2011 by Larry

I’ve been slacking in getting our fantasy basketball trophies made and sent out to the winners. My motivation finally get this done was the fact that our Fantasy Football league draft is upon us this weekend & Nick Cooper was eager to get his mitts on his trophy. It’s going to live at his house for the next year (or possibly longer, considering the NBA lockout is far from over). Oh well. Better late than never! Right guys? Check out our final league standings & laugh at the pitiful records of some of our best friends after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Joe Johnson Training Through NBA Lockout

August 26th, 2011 by Larry

At least the richest basketball player on the Atlanta Hawks payroll is keeping up his end of the deal during the NBA lockout. With no sign of a possible season, it gives me peace of mind to know that JJ is hooping hard (with Kevin Durant nonetheless) and staying in mid-season form.

Warstic Wood Bat Co.

August 26th, 2011 by Larry

Texas-based Warstic Wood Bat Co. have truly struck a chord among design-nerds & baseball fans alike with their signature bats. Check out all the sweet colors of these half-dipped bats! Warstic claims their bats are crafted for performance and feel. They believe that exudes confidence in any batter.

Check out this brand-positioning statement: “The added bonus infused in our bats is that Warrior mentality from which we encourage every player to draw from. It’s in our name. It’s in our Vintage Wartip Stain style. It’s in the trademark Warstripe emblem that is branded into every bat.”

I’m not sure about how 2 stripes of paint can make a player feel like a warrior. That’s probably more within the batter himself. I do however, really like their plan for growth: “Our plan for growth is not to grow quickly or out-advertise the competition. It’s more about slowly building a following of players with this common approach at the plate. Whether you are a power hitting cleanup man, leadoff hitter or 9 hole scrapper…When you step to the plate with our Trademarked Wartip bat…please do so with this mentality. Or please use someone else’s bat.”

It reminds me of how we feel about our brand We Are The Process. We’re gonna grow it slow and build relationships with all the right people. We’re not interested in the dog and pony shows in Vegas. That’s not for us!

Battlefield 3: Caspian Border

August 25th, 2011 by Georgios

I don’t know if ya’ll have had a chance to check out any trailers from Battlefield 3 but’s it looks bananas! One of the most anticipated first-person shooters, Battlefield 3 is due to come out on 10.25.11. This trailer shows off the massive multi-player map called Caspian Border that is a vehicle heavy map… meaning you get to fly jets and drive tanks!!! DICE, the studio that created BF3, did an amazing job with the graphics and effects using their cutting-edge game engine Frostbite 2. This trailer looks so realistic at times, I can see how some may confuse it with reality. The Beta version is due to come out sometime in September.

Just like our Fantasy league teams, we plan to start a We Are the Process squad for BF3 that will be open to anyone that wants to join. Maybe we can get our very own Marine, Jorge Menes, to train our squad. Hoorah!! We only rock PS3 here at EC/DC studio… so sorry X-box users.
