Our Charleston-based friends KJ and Matt came to Atlanta to spend the weekend doing some low key activities that included a visit to our studio, lemon pepper wings at The Local, and watching the Gold Cup Final between USA and Mexico.
I’m not sure if it was the exhilaration from witnessing the USA’s first 2 goals, or the libation-fueled disappointment from seeing Mexico score 4 straight spirit-crushing goals, but the night air promised something more. The USMNT may have been down and out, but our night was not over! Things took a drastic turn when our homies from SC made the spontaneous decision to get tattooed with the We Are the Process “Tommys” logo.
Do you have ink inspired by We Are the Process brand? If so, send in the proof and we’ll compile a post with all your photos. Just hit that nifty, new contact button in the left sidebar or email us at info [at] wearetheprocess.com.

“I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.” —Revelation 6:2
Stay tuned, y’all!

If you’ve been anything like me over the past 3 weeks you’ve spent a lot of time on baseball. Thanks to MLB.tv, I’ve been able to keep track of all the players on the @WeAreTheProcess fantasy baseball team, while watching television broadcasts from all over the country. I’ve started to notice that announcers use unique vernacular when speaking about their teams. Nike has touched upon a this flair with their new MLB Local T-Shirts that are now available for $20 on Eastbay. If you’re a fan of sports aesthetics like me, you’ll get a kick out of all these designs.

So here’s a glimpse of our booth set-up for Style X. It’s missing a few finishing touches, but we decided it was in our best interest to get a rough feel for set-up day. It’s sure to be a stressful load-in, so we wanted to work out any kinks in the comfort of our own studio beforehand.

We are often asked where & how we got our business cards produced and we point them directly to Red Bird Ink. Here’s a look into the production of them from the eye of my unsteady iPhone footage. Enjoy!

As some of you may have already deduced, we are taking our brand We Are the Process to SXSW this year. We will be participating in a new fashion related segment called Style X (prononced: Style By). The creators of Style X recently reached out to me and asked me to write an article about the experiences we’ve had in growing our brand as well as what I was enthused about with our trip to Austin in March. If you’re interested in that sort of thing, check outt the longest article I’ve written since college here.

If so, share your story at the Marcus Troy & Nike Sportswear Mavericks microsite. I uploaded my maverick story and was surprised to see it on the site immediately. Maybe every submission is automatically approved, but it’s still pretty cool to see yourself digitally represented among movers and shakers. It seems that Marcus will choose a maverick to win a pair of his Bespoke Air Force 1 sneakers… too bad, bc I already have my own!

The new Jordan lookbook is available for your viewing pleasure, and it proudly features a day in the life of, Chris Paul. I love the photography in the lookbook, as well as JB’s decision to feature CP3 over some of the other “more likely suspects” in this case. Check it out here.

Our good friends at Black Sheep Skate Shop in Charlotte have recently released this photo of a collaboration that they have planned for retail release with Spitfire Wheels. If you’re unaware, Spitfire has been an industry leader for years. I love how one of the wheels in the pack is different. Very creative. We couldn’t be happier for our friends, as a collaboration like this has been a long time coming for what many would claim as the best skate shop on the east coast. Congrats Black Sheep!

Check out these new limited edition Hennessy Very Special flask sleeves. They’re a high-quality silicon ‘skin’ for your bottle, which both protects it and decorates it. Not only does the silicon feel good in your hands, it also looks good. The detailing on the sleeve is really well executed; the grape vine pattern from the label is repeated on the front of the sleeve, and the inside texture is made up of the Hennessy script. The slip-resistant grip is perfect for football tailgates and other “raising hell” moments this fall.
Since the new V.S. flask sleeve comes in so many different, bright colors, you can get one to match your favorite team or your favorite sneakers. The yellow sleeve, shown above, perfectly matches my Nike Hyperfuse “Del Sol” that I’ve been rocking lately. It goes on the bottle really easily and fits snugly. Once it’s on simply pull the top back and take a swig! You can snag one at your local liquor store for a mere $12.99.
