We Are the Process – Fall/Winter 2011

October 25th, 2011 by Larry

watp_fallwinter11_lookbook_655.jpg

Our new collection of We Are the Process is available online now at WeAreTheProcess.com and select retailers around The South. This is personally my favorite collection so far and I’m not just saying it. There’s something for everyone. We used 3M reflective ink, we made a letterman jacket, we worked with New Era. The list goes on. I crossed a lot of things off my personal design-career bucketlist with this collection. I hope you guys enjoy the effort. #GrowTheBrand #SupportTheSouth

Find the brand in person at:
Standard in Atlanta
Black Sheep in Charlotte
Centre in Dallas
Rock City Kicks in Fayetteville

Shouts to Jorge Menes for the concept and execution of our newest lookbook.

Two of my favorite artists, Righchus and Stranger Day, have finally worked together on the track, Been Gone, which is one of the many bangers on Righchus’ newest EP, Black Cradles. I hope this is just the beginning of what’s to come from these two well-versed Southern gents! South Carolina & North Carolina stand up!

Rogue Wave Surf Shop

August 18th, 2011 by Larry

watp_rwss_03.JPG

We recently met Rhett Boyd, owner of Rogue Wave Surf Shop (RWSS), during our Christmas in July event in Charleston. He invited us to visit his shop the following day and we were definitely curious as to the type of surf shop he owned. You see, he was probably the most dapper fellow at the event, but all I could picture in my head was a typical surf shop with neon colored boards, trunks, and Sex Wax. My preconceived notions were pleasantly mistaken the following day, as I soon realized that RWSS is 50% a collection of relics (that are for sale of course), 25% surf product, and 25% lifestyle clothing. It’s as if Ernest Hemingway was a surfer and opened his own store.

When in Charleston, visit RWSS:
69 Spring Street
Charleston, SC 29403

Check out more photos after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Closed for Business

August 15th, 2011 by Jorge

closed_for_business_charleston.jpg

On a recent trip to Charleston, SC, the boys and I sat down to an amazing brunch with some of our local friends. With so many options for this Sunday tradition, we settled on one we heard had, “(the) best beer selection on tap.” The spot was called Closed for Business (CFB). The name didn’t make sense to me, but the pimento and cheese grits did. CFB offered a great atmosphere, great location, and some killer southern-styled fare (the oyster omelette is a must try, kids); you cant go wrong with this place for bro-unch!
