It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year since we participated in the 1st Let The Good Times Roll skateboard art show in Charlotte. Our buds at Black Sheep Skate Shop invited us to participate in LTGTR2 and we decided to carry over a treatment that we recently applied to the “Process Room” at The Basement. What do you guys think?

Perhaps the most popular pro skater in the world, Eric Koston, signed to Nike SB last year and we’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of his signature model sneaker. The Koston 1 SB has finally dropped to select retailers and proves to have been worth the wait. It is extremely lightweight and features a Lunarlon insole for extra impact absorption and comfort. The nearly one-piece solid, suede upper takes styling cues from the Bruin SB in a new streamline silhouette with minimized leather swoosh resulting in a nice mix of form and function. What do you guys think? I can’t decide which colorway I want to rock first! Pick up your pair at Black Sheep Skate Shop.
The homie, @StrangerDay, just sent over this awesome rap edit of Gold Panda’s Marriage. The track itself is an awesome instrumental that sets the perfect table for some lyrics. And now for a few words from the man himself, “hope all is well…. Something to jam poolside over the weekend: holler!!”
Dirty Mega, the wildest party sweeping through the Carolinas, is making it’s 3rd stop in Charlotte, NC on Friday, April 8th with some special ATL flair. In addition to the usual suspects of Stranger Day, Lord Walrus, Blng x Bdgt, & Black Sheep Skate Shop, they’ve invited our brand, We Are the Process, & Cristo Disco to throw down at Dharma Lounge. Charlotte come and see us! We’ll have special pop-up shop pricing on all our gear for one night only!
Last Friday, Nike Skateboarding pros visited our friends at Black Sheep Skate Shop in Charlotte on what was called the “Too Cold to Hold Tour”. Nike skaters such as Eric Koston & ATL’s own, Grant Taylor, were in attendance. As you can see, the skate scene in Charlotte is alive due in part to a great shop like Black Sheep. For more photos of the event, check out the snaps of Myk Pate on his Danger Means Nothing blog.
Stranger Day’s newest track has me wanting more. Word on the street is that he has a full album ready for our earholes and this is just a taste of what’s to come. Moonwalking on the Sun (Produced by EMYND) features a freshened-up version of The Clash’s London Calling beat which makes for an awesome listen.
Here’s a throwaway clip of some of Charlotte’s up and coming skaters. They’re all friends of the shop that we rep, Black Sheep. This clip is just some of their leftover stuff, so be on the lookout for a full clip coming soon with all of their best footage. Featuring: Trey Boyd, Sedale Dotson, Zay Belton, Parrish Moore, Matt Schneider & Curtis Whitehead. Filmed and edited by: Steve Naylor.
Stranger Day is at it again a video for his new single, I’m Not Playin’. Remember in March when we brought the big homie down from Charlotte to play our 1st Anniversary party? We told you he was up to big things…
The first piece from our Process Fall/Winter ‘10 collection is this handcrafted iPhone sleeve. Our crossed-tomahawks (Tommys) are stamped into the leather and complimented with a side-stitch. It’s definitely a new avenue we haven’t pursued before, but we enjoyed learning about leather-working and we’ll be sure to have other accessories of the same caliber in the future. Available now at Standard’s Lenox location and coming soon to our online boutique and other retail locations. Follow @WeAreTheProcess on Twitter for updates.
The big homie from Charlotte is at it again! Here’s his new head-bobbing track for the fall season from his forthcoming project, Turn It Up produced by Emynd. Get the track below here:
