Cincinnati Reds Honor Chipper Jones

May 21st, 2012 by Larry

The Cincinnati Reds will honor Chipper Jones with special bases at the Great American Ball Park during their 4-game set against the Atlanta Braves this week. The bases are emblazoned with a plaque reading, “Celebrating the Career of #10 Chipper Jones” bearing both the Reds & Braves team logos. I’m impressed to see a team honor an opposing player in this way, but it’s no surprise as Chipper Jones is sure to be a 1st ballot Hall of Fame inductee. 2 weeks ago, the Chicago Cubs gave Chipper the Atlanta Braves flag that was flying at Wrigley Field during his last visit to the Friendly Confines as an MLB player.

ETSF & Oscar Robertson

February 28th, 2011 by Larry

Our good friends & psychotic sports fans, Ed Maisonet & Kenny Masenda, run a website called Ed The Sports Fan & also host a sports driven web-radio show called Unsportsmanlike Conduct. This weekend, they celebrated their 3 year anniversary and we were happy to have been there with them in spirit. Ed is seen here in a photo wearing our Spear graphic tee alongside one of the NBA’s greatest players ever, Oscar Robertson. Amazing stuff boys!
