We are happy to announce the launch of the newest We Are The Process collection. We’ve included fleece items, a beautifully crafted nylon coaches jacket, as well as a range of headwear to endure the upcoming cold months.
The lookbook was shot by Jorge Menes in some of our favorite cities (New Orleans, Charleston, and Atlanta) with some of our favorite friends. We hope you enjoy the new collection and we appreciate all the support that helps to #GrowTheBrand.

Since its introduction, the Nike Destroyer jacket has quickly become a coveted symbol of street smarts, discerning style and gritty individualism. Now, the connection between the Destroyer and classic Americana is even more definitive.
This holiday season, Nike Sportswear introduces five exclusive limited edition Destroyer jackets paying homage to the cities of Detroit, New Orleans, Miami, Philadelphia and Oakland. Along with city-specific imagery and community interaction, the City Destroyers celebrate the football stars that embody the spirit of those archetypical metropolises and their football tradition. The number 51, which is found on many of the different metropolitan-themed jackets, pays homage to the uniform worn by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman when he played collegiate football.
There will only be 8 jackets available per city. Beginning today, both the Nike Sportswear stores in New York (21 Mercer) and Los Angeles (Montalbán) will have 8 of each jacket available.

This past weekend, Jhes and I participated in the 1st Annual Swamp Thing Alleycat Race in Houma, LA. This was my first time participating in an alleycat, and I am happy to report, it won’t be the last! Big thanks go out to Stu Babin and all the hardcore kids in Terrebone Parish for putting on such a great event. Jeremy Toups took home first place, as well as an entry into the We Are the Process “Conquest” Bike Giveaway. There are just two more weeks to reserve a chance to win the custom Brooklyn Machine Works Gangsta designed by We Are the Process. Head on over to WeAreTheProcess.com and purchase an ENDURO shirt while you still can. The winner will be announced Saturday, October 1st.

People always assume, that all we do is work on the brand We Are the Process. Not the case at all! Georgios & Larry work as graphic designers full time under the moniker, EC Design Co., and I help out where I can. I spend my days working as a Marine here in New Orleans and in my off-time, I like to go fast. When I am not on my bike tearing down the streets of New Orleans, I am behind the wheel of a race car making laps around the track. Last week, Team Breast Friends and I, competed in the 24 Hours of LeMons’, Cain’t Get Bayou, at No Problem Raceway in New Orleans. If you don’t know about the 24hrs of LeMons Series, in a nut shell, it’s endurance racing for $500 cars. Now let me stop you right there. Don’t let the price tag fool ya’. Our 1991 Honda Civic VTEC is set-up like a proper race car should be, and after 8 races, it keeps getting faster. Just imagine Mad Max meets Nascar for 24 straight hours… Hairy, scary, and so fun. One day (real soon) We Are the Process is going to have it’s own car and team. What we should name our team? Leave us an answer after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

The end is near! Mark your sun calendar kids, cause on December 21, 2012, We Are the Process will sponsor a bicycle death race from Atlanta to New Orleans known as Enduro MMXII. The rules are simple. Make it there first and win. This race isn’t for powder puffs, so start training now.
The brand will provide one lucky winner a means to arrive in style on a custom-built We Are the Process “Conquest” fixed gear bicycle, named after the first rider of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. One hundred Limited Edition Enduro MMXII shirts have been produced to commemorate the event. When the shirts are gone, the brand will randomly select one of the purchasers to win the “Conquest” bicycle. Each shirt purchase guarantees a 1/100 chance of winning the bicycle. There is no limit on the number of Enduro MMXII shirts purchased.
Enduro MMXII shirts are are on sale now, only at WeAreTheProcess.com. Also, the We Are the Process Summer 2011 Collection will also be released on the website in a few short days.

The Coathangers are a modern day, Dirty South answer to The Runaways; and a hell of a lot better if you ask me. We’ve been listening to their records for quite some time now and we’re happy to report that they’re hitting us in the face again with a new track inspired by NOLA called Hurricane. The track is from their upcoming album Larceny & Lace, releasing on June 7th.
