FIFA 11: PROCESS F.C. Highlight Reel [09.30.10]

October 1st, 2010 by Larry

I picked up FIFA 11 by EA Sports for Playstation 3 on Tuesday and have been enjoying the new game immensely. There are numerous game play upgrades included in this year’s version of the game but I don’t want to bore anyone with those mundane details. If you’re really curious about in-game changes, head over to EA Sports’ website or any other blog out there. For me, the major difference between FIFA 10 & FIFA 11 is the Creation Centre that allows users to create their own players and teams. I immediately jumped at the opportunity to create a football club for PROCESS, consisting of video game representations of our crew of friends.

I’m still ironing out a few kinks to our squad, which is already available for download to your game system. I’ll do an in-depth review of the Creation Centre in the coming days, but for now I wanted to show off this hilarious goal celebration video clip featuring PROCESS F.C. midfielder, Ross Martin. Enjoy!

EA Sports x Nike Trainer 1.2 “NCAA Football 11″

July 10th, 2010 by Larry

To celebrate the release of their new video game, NCAA Football 11, EA Sports teamed up with Nike to create this very special release of the Trainer 1.2 for gamers and Gator fans everywhere. No word on a release date yet, but the game itself drops on July 13th. I’d expect the release of the kicks to coincide with that release date.

My favorite design detail is the faux-gator material used on the forefoot strap. We saw Tim Tebow rocking these yesterday at a the Sparq Training National Championship with green laces, so it’s safe to assume the pair will come boxed with alternate colored laces.

More angles after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

NBA Elite 11 [Feat. Kevin Durant]

June 23rd, 2010 by Larry

The NBA season has just ended and we’re in the middle of an World Cup, but I can’t stop thinking about what promise this new game holds for us. The “improvements” to this re-booted NBA Live franchise makes it seem like the gameplay will be more fluid than ever, promising 1:1 player response. Also, shooting the ball will be more skill-oriented, and less of a pre-programmed dice roll. To me, this sounds a lot like how EA Sports’ FIFA franchise handles itself. If that’s the case, our crew will be extremely busy this Fall/Winter taking our newly-mediocre Atlanta Hawks to the Finals.
