The usual suspects (Dax, Zach Wolfe, and Sumner) are at it again with another Big Boi video that’s destined for virality. Nice work again boys!

This is ridiculous! Madsteez completed this mural in 6 days. I’ve painted many-a-mural, and it’s not easy. The piece spans 80ft x 30ft and is on the rooftop of the Ricardo Montalban Theater on Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles. I want to see how he planned this feat!
The World Cup is 101 days away, and Nike has finally revealed what their teams will be wearing in the tournament. One of the most interesting things about these new kits is that Nike’s Considered innovations are in each kit, as they are made from recycled plastic bottles. Each kit contains up to 8 bottles worth of recycled plastic.

Today, Ross and I played a friendly match of soccer (football) on PS3. Netherlands v. Hamburger SV on FIFA 10. After this spin move, Ross decided he didn’t want to play against me for the rest of the afternoon. I love being able to take an afternoon off to grab lunch with a good friend and kick his butt at some FIFA.

Kanye West posted the Cyhi Da Prynce - Studda & I’m 100 video on his blog today… a little behind the curve this time, Kanye! ATL is strong. Start paying attention, sir.
Nike’s new short film, Human Chain, celebrates the intensity, dynamism and determination that connects athletes in all sports and motivates them to inspiring performances.
From Lance Armstrong on his bike, to a six-year-old studying martial arts, movement is the universal language that connects the athlete in everyone.
This is a simple visual idea executed with precision by Wieden+Kennedy; a creative agency I’ve always dreamed of working with. W+K, holler at EC sometime…
One of our favorite groups is back! This is the band that Georgios and I listened to non-stop during our first year at design school. I hope this new album, Plastic Beach, is just as good.
One of our favorite ATL-based artists, GREG.MIKE, recently sat down with Oh Snap Kid and spoke openly about his Popstars & Cokeheads art collection.
Our buddies, Stranger Day & Cristo Disco recently filmed this music video for their collaborative track, Cristo Disco Ball. They were kind enough to fully gear up in PROCESS clothing during their shoot. Enjoy! Warning: Lyrics NSFW!
I saw Picasso’s Guernica in the summer of 1997 at Madrid’s Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía but I never expected to see this masterpiece in this way!
One of my Portfolio Center students, Eric Dewyngaert, took his project to the next level this week. Here’s a brief explanation of this video according to him:
“A photoshoot undergoing the album packaging design for a Deftones acoustic album cover, The Acoustic Experiment. This is one of the most incredible things Ive ever gotten to do.”
My favorite part of this video is listening to all the people hootin’ and hollerin’ as they congregate around to witness the smashing.
I’m a daily bicycle commuter and enthusiast that promotes cycling whenever I can. This past summer, I had connected with a grassroots organization called FixCity.org after hearing about their efforts to get more bike racks installed in Brooklyn. Just yesterday, I was asked to participate in a TV spot for the website. Here are the results!
FixCity.org combines two of my favorite things: bikes and the internet. Its a website that allows users to suggest new bike rack locations by posting an address and a photo of the suggested location onto the website’s map. The data is sent over to the Department of Transportation and helps them plan their next install locations. The creators of the Fixcity.org are based in New York City and are currently running a pilot program of the site in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg and Greenpoint neighborhoods, also known as the ‘epicenters’ of NYC bicycling.
Kicking off the campaign for their soon to be released album, Cycles, our buds in Cartel have released their new video for the single, Let’s Go. Check it out at 1:56… ATL representin’!
Uffie has been one of my favorites for a very long time and I’m happy to see that her full-length album will finally drop in early 2010. She has such a spicy attitude! Peep her first official music video for the newly-re-recorded single, Pop the Glock. Language NSFW!
