Legendary Wings

June 15th, 2009 by Larry

girls_night_wings.jpg

I’m not sure when I’ll get another chance to jam on chicken wings this good, so I had to take a pic. This past weekend, Rosa allowed Sumner and a few others to try some of these legendary wings that only a hand full of guys have ever eaten. Apparently, Lan Ngo only makes these wings for Girls Night Out or Girls Night In and if you’re a dude, then you’re usually not welcome.

Around the World

June 15th, 2009 by Larry

Ted’s headed back to Borneo to continue the work from when he went overseas earlier this year and the complimentary Estate LA 5-Panel cap that he’s wearing in this photo is going with him. It’s pretty cool to realize that in a matter of 5 days, that cap will have traveled from Los Angeles > Atlanta > Brooklyn > Borneo.

Reppin’ Locals at Standard Peachtree

June 13th, 2009 by Larry

process_estate_laxatl_standard.jpg

I just went by Standard on Peachtree to see how things were going and I caught @RyanAcker pushing their last two PROCESS x Estate LA caps on the phone, drinking a Whynatte, and wearing a Streetlocal tee. I had to snap a pic. Good things happen when you keep it local. Everything in this pic was created right here in the good ole U.S.A.

Guerilla B.B.Q.

June 10th, 2009 by Larry

3.jpg
A lil’ slice of Americana right here.

Last weekend, Georgios and Cory decided to get everyone together for a Guerilla B.B.Q. (basically a grill-out that’s planned on the fly). After securing all the gear from friends (I provided a propane tank and grill brush) we were ready to rock. We were lucky to have some great buddies come through, including Myk from DMN in Charlotte.

Check out some photos taken by Denys Meak after the jump.

EDubb - Whooty

June 3rd, 2009 by Larry

I don’t normally post videos of the Crank That or Stanky Legg nature, but when our buddy, Yuri, called this to my attention I couldn’t help but laugh. Not only does Atlanta’s EDubb have the funniest hook I’ve heard in awhile, but frontman Nemesis is wearing a PROCESS x Estate LA Chief Nokahoma fitted the whole time! I’ve watching this thing 5 times in a row and I’m really starting to like it…

Emily Dryden recently took this portrait of rapper, Mums FP, at our old stomping ground, Portfolio Center. I’m surprised to see our jellyfish stickers still stuck up everywhere. To sweeten the pot, I’ve posted an unreleased and exclusive track from Mums FP.

Willie Isz - The Grussle

May 26th, 2009 by Georgios

willieisz-web.jpg

If you haven’t heard of the Willie Isz, you will come this summer. Goodie Mob frontman and Dungeon Family member, Khujo Goodie, has joined forces with Jneiro Jarel to orchestrate their first album, “Georgiavania”. From what I’ve heard so far, the sound is reminiscent of classic goodie mob crunk with a futuristic hip-hop twist that Jneiro Jarel brings to the table. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album that is due to release in June on Lex Records.

Workin’ on the Weekend [EC for Megan Huntz]

May 25th, 2009 by Larry

Despite it being Memorial Day Weekend, the scene at our studio was bustling with life on Saturday. EC resident photographer, Jorge Menes, was working on set for client, Megan Huntz Dresses. Jorge has worked with Megan on her lookbooks since the beginning of her line several years back. The shots always take my breath away, and I have no doubt that they’ll do the same this time around.

Keep an eye out for a post from Jorge in the coming weeks as he turns the imagery from this weekend into finished lookbook-worthy shots. If we’re lucky, he’ll walk us through the “process”.

Check out a few more behind-the-scenes photos by yours truly after the jump.

Hollyweerd teams up with Grip Plyaz on a new track that reference’s life in Atlanta. This seems to be a winning formula for Grip, as we recently heard him crush the track on DJ Smile’s Atlanta Bitch.

May 25th, 2009 by Larry

This was filmed by the boys over at ZachWolfe.com during their recent photoshoot for Gucci Mane. Rob was DJ’ing the shoot with the “Kaossilator” (smallest/funniest beat machine ever). Go to RobWonderRadio.com to hear Rob’s monthly show, No Static at All. Props to Zach Wolfe, Sumner, and Dax for a hilarious video. Big things are coming from this crew. Zach’s even teaching a class at Portfolio Center, our old stomping grounds!
