Fans of card games & baseball games alike will enjoy this recent release given away to New Era customers in Asia upon purchase. The faces all have little hats for the pips and the hats have their respective suits in the center. The hats were also added to the court cards which makes you feel like you are at a sporting event. Consider yourself lucky if you own one of these decks!

Introducing the football cap that the Atlanta Falcons will wear on the sidelines for the 2012 season. Today, New Era unveiled their first ever NFL On-Field cap collection. These caps will be worn by NFL players on the sidelines during regular season and posteseason games. The collection is available for purchase at New Era Flagship stores, neweracap.com, NFLShop.com and other retailers beginning July 12.

In April 2012, New Era became the exclusive and official headwear supplier for the National Football League (NFL) for all sideline, locker room, NFL Draft Day and Super Bowl caps as well as having rights for fan headwear worldwide.

“This collection is built for the hot days in September and the frigid evenings in December. For over 90 years, New Era has been providing athletes and fans with high quality products,” says Christopher H. Koch, CEO, New Era. “We’re thrilled to bring our first ever NFL On-Field collection with a unique combination of style, comfort and technology to the NFL sidelines.”

Sport performance is one of the center pillars of the New Era brand. The NFL On-Field Collection is infused with NE TECH properties that will keep both players and fans comfortable well into the off-season. DRYERA™ is specially treated fabric that repeals water whenever inclement weather sneaks up. Additionally, the collection has COOLERA™, a moisture management system that wicks away sweat and disperses it quickly.

The NFL Kickoff game on Wednesday, September 5, when the Super Bowl XLVI-champion New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys, will mark the first time a 59FIFTY will appear on the sidelines at an NFL game. Throughout the season, knits, headbands and 59FIFTY Dog Ears, will headline the NFL Cold Weather Collection which will debut later into the season. When the temperature drops, this upcoming collection will keep players and fans warm.

This is the cap the Atlanta Braves will be wearing at home on Memorial Day against the St. Louis Cardinals. For the fifth consecutive year, every MLB club will honor America’s veterans by wearing “Stars & Stripes” caps made by New Era. Just like previous years, a portion of the proceeds to each cap will be going to the Welcome Back Veterans fund. “Stars & Stripes” caps will also be worn league-wide on July 4th, and presumably on September 11th.

What’s new about the “Stars & Stripes” caps this year is that New Era is venturing away from the red, white, & blue color schemes from previous years. Caps will remain in each team’s official colors, but a digital camouflage applique will fill the team’s logo as well as the MLB logo as a nod to modern day military uniforms.

This season, the official headwear of the NFL will finally be provided by New Era. As a cap wearer, this is an announcement I’ve been waiting my whole life for. Finally, I’ll be able to rock caps of my favorite football teams and they’ll fit like they’re supposed to!

This new partnership launches with the Draft Collection. Draft Collection speaks to the city and is a symbol of the moment a player and city become one. The famed 59FIFTY (fitted cap, center) will be worn by players on Draft Day. Agents, family and friends will wear 9FIFTY snapbacks (left) and 39THIRTY stretch fit caps (right).

All product is available for purchase at midnight on April 1 at New Era Flagship stores only. The Draft Collection will be available at all participating retailers and Neweracap.com on April 2.

In celebration of the 36th anniversary of Black History Month, Nike is introducing a new, limited-edition 2012 Black History Month Collection featuring premium footwear from Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear, along with select apparel.

The collection celebrates the achievements and pioneering spirit of three important teams: 1996 USA Basketball Women’s team, 2002 Brazil Men’s Soccer team, and the 2008 Kenyan Long-Distance running team. These teams answered the call to greatness and their legacy continues to uplift and inspire their communities.

Nike designers developed a signature graphic print and distinct colors that are featured on the shoes. This motif is inspired by the vibrant colors of International African culture, drawing visual cues from Kenyan beads, to the Brazilian Carnivale, to African-American quilt making which originated in the southern United States.

Select basketball shoes in the 2012 Black History Month collection includes the Nike Zoom KD IV, Nike Kobe VII System Supreme and LeBron 9 — all feature the pattern with dark grey as the base color of each shoe.

Nike Sportswear shoes include the Nike Air Force 1, Nike Air Max 1, Nike Blazer and 2012 Nike Huarache Free. In addition to the shoes, select apparel styles include the Nike Destroyer jacket, T-shirt and snapback hat.

In previous years, Black History Month offerings from Nike were only available to select friends and family. 2012 is the first time that Nike has put together an entire collection (they’ve previously done tees and AF1′s at most) and offered the items for retail sale, but not without the intentions of contributing to the community. In keeping with a tradition of honoring this holiday by giving back to organizations that work to inspire youth towards greatness, Nike, Inc. will make a financial contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

The Nike Black History Month Collection will be available at select retailers such as our homies at Rock City Kicks Fayetteville and Nice Kicks, and online at NikeStore.com beginning February 11.
