We intentionally gave our Tomahawk Girl graphic a generic name because we want our crew/readers/fans to come up with a name for her. The direction of the brand is ultimately dictated by you. So, come up with something clever and email your ideas to and we’ll choose a winner on Monday the 20th of July.
Not only will the winner receive creative bragging rights, but they’ll also win 3 Process tees (including the newly-named Tomahawk Girl tee), a cap, stickers, and additional goodies.
EC blog readers: Leaving a comment on this blog post counts as a submission as well. Happy naming!

Tonight, join the crew at El Bar with special guest, DJ Rashida, on the turntables. You may have seen her on stage with Prince, or on MTV on America’s Best Dance Crew. She’s major!
Don’t know what to wear? I’d suggest swinging by Standard 1841 and picking up a PROCESS tee…

From time to time, the crew at Standard will ask us to design flyers for their upcoming parties, events, and in-store appearances/performances. This week, we’re excited that the event involves hip-hop-blog-friendly rapper, Wale. He will be hanging out with us from 5 to 7pm before his ATL show later that evening. Dubbed, a “Listening Party”, the only thing I could imagine we’d be graced with hearing are tracks from his super-hyped and anticipated LP, Attention Deficit. The first single, Chillin’ featuring Lady Ga Ga, is poppy, nostalgic, and full of name-drops and product mentions. It’s definitely going to be a summer jam (whether you want it to be or not).

The PROCESS team has been asked to participate in a custom sneaker show called Laced Up in Charlotte next month. Yesterday, an unmarked box containing these white canvas Vans Chukka Boots arrived at our studio downtown.
-Anyone have any ideas what we should do to these puppies?
-Anyone know how to transfer graphics to canvas?
-Anyone want to ride up to QC and party with us the weekend of the 12th?
Leave a comment or .
Stay tuned, as we’ll post “process photos” as soon as we decide on a concept/direction.

Sopo Bicycle Cooperative is pleased to present their first ever Bicycle Frame Show, a group show of bicycle frames designed on and transformed by local artists and artist collectives. The show is at Green Certified Radial Cafe in Candler Park. Frames are on sale now for $200 each. Unsold and For-Auction-Only frames will be auctioned during the closing reception on Saturday, April 26, between 7 pm and 11 pm. The party features performances by Hot Toddy’s Flaming Cabaret, Atlanta Sedition Orchestra, and Lindsay Appel.
All proceeds benefit Sopo Bicycle Cooperative, your 501(c)3 nonprofit community bicycle repair shop, located in sunny East Atlanta.
It’s always great to participate in fresh, local art shows. We’ve been talking with Rachael Spiewak with Sopobikes.org; helping her brainstorm ideas for this show since last December. Not only did we get the opportunity to do a custom bike frame, but she asked us to design the show poster. Don’t miss out.

In cooperation with Knoll, MODA presents the first exhibition to examine the complete range of furniture designs of Eero Saarinen. Widely heralded as America’s foremost architect in the 1950s, Eero Saarinen (1910 - 1961) gained his earliest international prominence with his prize winning furniture designs done with your boy, Charles Eames, for the 1941 Museum of Modern Art Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition.
Saarinen’s subsequent cooperation with his life-long friend Florence Knoll resulted in his most noted designs: the Grasshopper Chair, the Womb Chair and derivative 70-Series searing and the iconic Pedestal Series of tables and chairs.
Designs for Everyday Living presents examples of Saarinen’s early furniture designs, sketches, photographs and descriptions of each of Saarinen’s collections, including a rare remaining example of the MoMA Organic Design chairs. Knoll has provided archival examples and pieces of Saarinen’s timeless designs from current production.

Museum of Design Atlanta
Opening Reception: January 31st, 5 pm - 8 pm
Congrats to our girl, Ansley Whipple, for her hard work in getting this exhibit together. We can’t wait to come through on the 31st!

Seriously, Shock Cinema is my favorite Atlanta band. Well, technically they’re from New York now but they got their start here in the ATL and moved over a year ago. They’ve since been signed to a record label and they’ve recently released an album called Our Way Is Revenge. Pitchfork only gave it a 5.4 but we all know that they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Being a film school nerd and noise-junkie, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed their live shows which feature visual remixes of classic horror films. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you have no excuse to miss this event. I have no doubt that their Return to the Dirty Dirty is going to be incredible.
