Head over to the newly-skinned We Are The Process website to see the new lookbook and be the first to own our new pieces by making a purchase in our online boutique.
The newest effort by our house line, We Are The Process, is called the “Love & War Collection”. We created this Lubalin-esque logotype for the collection as an homage to one of the greatest typographers of all time, Herb Lubalin. Keep an eye out, as you’ll start to see imagery and pieces from the Love & War collection very soon.
If you are one of the lucky few that bought a ticket to the Esperanza x Process Hawks opener, then you might need this info. Get the info after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
For the first release of our Fall/Winter collection, we’re giving first dibs at this new piece to our ATL supporters. It’ll be available Monday, October 26th at Standard on Peachtree.
We Are The Process present’s Cristo Disco’s new live mix. One of many takes to come. “One Track, No Touch ups, No computer Tricks, Some Down South Shit to ride to.”
We had so much fun duking it out against Esperanza last night at Graveyard Tavern that we’re already talking about doing it again! We’ll go even bigger next time! Thank you to everyone who came out and witnessed the throwdown, and special thanks to those who participated as part of Team Process. The final score was 3 - 2 in favor of Process! We won the categories of Darts, Pool, & Bearfights. Esperanza kicked our butts in Arm-wrestling and Sticker High-jump.
Finally, big thanks to our sponsors/supports: No Brakes, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Jameson, SMKA, Standard, Fadia Kader, AsianCajuns, & Sorry Darlin.
Lot’s o’ peeps have been asking what’s in store for PROCESS for our Fall/Winter collection. Granted that the end of 2009 will mark our first year out as a brand, we have some special things prepared. Reaching goals y’all…
I started sketching this graphic the other day thinking it might go well with PROCESS‘ Fall/Winter efforts. I still need to tweak the composition a little bit before re-rendering it for a print-ready situation. Peeps who are playing in our Fantasy Football League may have noticed a fully rendered comp of this graphic on my team’s profile (Dirty South Octopi). We’ll definitely fit it in the collection if I can make changes and meet production deadlines. Otherwise, it is a head start on some fun stuff for Spring.
Thanks to Franco for spotting this one on MTV Jams today:
DJ Greg Street from Atlanta’s V-103 radio station made a cameo in this video repping one of our out-of-stock & (regrettably) out-of-production fitteds from this Spring. If you were lucky enough to score one, congrats. It’s a collectors item now! I’m not at liberty to elaborate on that any more.
Football season is upon us, and we’ve decided to run a fantasy league this year. It’ll be my first time to play, since I’m die-hard Cowboys & Falcons, I find it hard to draft/root for enemy players (Redskins/Eagles/Giants/Saints/Panthers/Bucs/etc). Anyway, I’m putting my hatred aside this season to have some fun with you bros and gals.
The top 3 team owners will receive hefty PROCESS prize packs.
Sign up by emailing us at . You’ll receive a registration email from ESPN shortly after that. Spots are limited, so make sure you sign up soon!

We have a new batch of stickers that subtly hint at what’s to come in Fall/Winter. We’ll send everyone a stack with their online orders or you can score some in person at Standard 1841, Youngblood Boutique, and Black Sheep in Charlotte (soon).
We’ve been invited to participate in a 1st of it’s kind fashion show on August 7th. The show will feature all Atlanta designers including our favorite party girl’s line, Megan Huntz Dresses. We’ve got something up our sleeves on this one…

Congrats to Eric V for submitting the winning name for our Tomahawk Girl contest. The graphic will forever be known as Maddie the Tomahawk Girl named after Braves great, Greg Maddux. The timing was perfect and we couldn’t deny the name, given that Maddux’s #31 jersey was retired over the weekend.
Other honorable mentions were: Darrell Sabbs - Lil’ Bearfight (referencing our favorite boys night out ritual) Chris W - Georgia (plain and simple. We loved it.)
All winners will be notified by email. Your prizes will be mailed out after that!
Also, thank you to everyone that submitted a name. They were all really good and some were hilarious. We’ll be in touch about some special things to come just for you all.
We spent all of Wednesday on location at the studio of Atlanta photographer, Hannibal Matthews. Known for his star-studded client list, he was commissioned by XTM Online to shoot a lookbook for their fashion show, Exposure, that we’re participating in on August 7th. It’s inspiring to watch Hannibal work and we’re in love with the bang-up job he did for us and the other designers with Exposure. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of his photos start to appear in our PROCESS Gallery (hint).
We intentionally gave our Tomahawk Girl graphic a generic name because we want our crew/readers/fans to come up with a name for her. The direction of the brand is ultimately dictated by you. So, come up with something clever and email your ideas to and we’ll choose a winner on Monday the 20th of July.
Not only will the winner receive creative bragging rights, but they’ll also win 3 Process tees (including the newly-named Tomahawk Girl tee), a cap, stickers, and additional goodies.
EC blog readers: Leaving a comment on this blog post counts as a submission as well. Happy naming!
Resident Epidemik Coalition / PROCESS photographer, Jorge Menes, was in town over the weekend and snapped this photo of @DecaturDan while shooting some test frames for our new lookbook. Although we won’t officially use this shot in our book, I thought it was a perfect to tease at what we’ve been up to…
Thank you to everyone who placed an order this month and received complimentary FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING. We’ve packed more orders than we ever thought! There’s still one more day to take advantage of the sweet deal at http://wearetheprocess.com/store.php
