Gearing up for the 2010 World Cup!

The crew has been getting psyched for the 2010 World Cup by playing a lot of FIFA 10 on Playstation. There have been some serious throwdowns at my place lately!

If you haven’t heard of Dreaden, you will soon. I went to Lenny’s the other night to catch their show and I have to say it was awesome. Check out the photos after the jump, Danny the guitarist is rockin’ one of our tees. You can’t see him but Zak the drummer was sportin’ a StreetLocal tee that night as well. Thanks for the support guys.
Dreaden just released their first single “Night Friends” on XTM Online.

One of our favorite local DJ’s, Cristo Disco, is new to the blogging world. Check out his site daily, as he promises a constant stream of fresh content, music, and photos. Break him in nice and proper with some comments!

Pr*tty Sh*tty is a great blog for all you design snobs out there. Topics include, the terrible Carolina Hurricanes jerseys to the prolifically-gross Papyrus font all over that lil’ Avatar movie…

The Atlanta Falcons finished the season at 9-7, just missing the playoffs, but this snaps a 44 year drought of not having consecutive winning seasons. It might not seem like much, but this is great progress for a team that was recently dismantled and reassembled with “more responsible” parts. Maybe next year, barring injuries, ATL can make a run at the top!

Right before DJ AM passed, it was announced that he had been working with Swoosh on his own kicks. No one knew when they were coming out, but most salivated over the sample photos. Our friends at Niche in Charlotte just announced that they will be receiving the highly-anticipated Nike x DJ AM Dunk High Quickstrike sneaker on January 9th. We’re still unsure as to which (if any) accounts in Atlanta will be receiving these kicks, but I wouldn’t be surprised if our buds at Standard get them. Stay tuned… It’s confirmed. Standard will also be receiving these on January 9th. Let the lines begin!
Big Boi Ft. Gucci Mane - Shine Blockas (Official Video) from SNORT THIS TV on Vimeo.
A brand new video from Big Boi for a brand new year. You’ve heard the song, now here’s the video straight from Snort This. Big ups to Zach Wolfe for filming and Sumner for editing the video.

The ladies of fashion blog, AsianCajuns.com, recently ran a feature story on mega scarves and used the PROCESS Bombera Street Scarf in their trend-setting examples. A fine write-up from 2 of Atlanta’s most prolific bloggers! Check out the article here.

Here’s a photo I snapped of Cristo & Ben chillin’ in the back room at El Bar this past Wednesday night. We were all there for an impromptu night out, enjoying Mayhem’s set. If you haven’t see Mayhem do his thing on Wednesdays, you should make a point to catch his dubstep/crunk sets. Bananas!

Check us out in ThoughtMarker’s Best of 2009 write up!

Just like last year, but way better! JSol and Apple Juice will be holding down the beats and as always, there will be a Mariachi Band, Champagne toast at midnight, and a swag bag full of quality goodies! $20 reserves you a spot! Email for more details!

Here’s a first view of the NSW DESTROYER Jacket that represents the spirit of competitive sport in tribute to NY. Tomorrow (December 18th), there will be 21 of these jackets available at the Nike Sportswear store at 21 Mercer Street in NY. I’d recommend picking one of these jackets up. They’ll last several lifetimes.
Admit it. If you had a letterman’s jacket, you flaunted it. If you didn’t, you secretly wanted one. The Nike designers went all-out in creating this edition of the Destroyer Varsity Jacket. Raiding the All Conditions Gear (ACG) innovation cache, they found fabrics, laminates and bonding methods that could brave nasty weather but still look fresh.

until a good idea is emulated. Maybe it’s a coincidence, but I really doubt it considering the proximity of Tuscaloosa and Atlanta. Anyway… Hook ‘em!

Check out the newly re-launched PlywoodPeople.com website designed by Epidemik Coalition. They wanted a website that allowed them to tell their intriguing stories (via a user-updated blog) and more importantly, to sell the goods created by the people in the stories. We created a structure that allowed them to customize the site and determine where different types of information will go. Check out their site, and revisit it often, as the content changes and evolves rapidly! While you’re visiting, pick up some fair trade goods for the holidays!

This Saturday, we’ll be at Eyedrum for the Harts 4The Holidays Trunk Sale. There will be Arts, Craft, Music & your favorite local brands selling their gear.
ALL (100%) proceeds and donations will go to benefit the SONGS FOR KIDS Foundation
@ EYEDRUM Art + Music Gallery

Our friend, Marta Burleson from Armchair Media, just sent in these photos of her modeling our Bombera scarf in a few fun ways. Get yours here.

A few months back I received a phone call from Jonathan Beckles, a writer from a new digital magazine called Anatomy. He asked if I’d be willing to chat about our brand, PROCESS, and answer some questions he had about brands outside of NYC as well as the meaning behind some of our design elements. It was the first time I’ve conducted an entire interview over the phone. It was wild, but hopefully I didn’t say, “like” or “uh” too many times.
Head over to ForYourEnrichment.com to see a preview of the first issue of Anatomy.
Note: In order to see our story, you have to subscribe (for Free) via Email or RSS.

Finally! You can customize your very own pair on Nike Air Max 1’s online at NikeiD.com. This is something I’ve been looking forward to doing for a long time. Just don’t copy my Poppyseed Bagel, Lox, & Cream Cheese inspired pair.
