Left: Destiny / Right: Gimpmode
Two of our friends, Destiny & Gimpmode, have branded themselves with one of our graphics, the Nokahoma skull. I don’t think either of them knew that the other had one but they both look amazing. Thanks for the support guys.
BTW If you want to see @Gimpmode Nokahoma tat up close, He’ll be playing at Slice this Saturday from 9PM – 3 AM with other great local DJ’s like Klever, Distal, Trench, Ricky Raw and special guest DJ Vaccine.

Our team was recently approached to create artwork for a mixtape by 2 of our favorite ATL-based DJs, J-Sol & Apple Juice. We worked closely with the duo to carry our Hotlanta/baseball theme throughout the visual & sonic experience.
We’ll be sending out a physical copy of “Hit & Run” with every order from the PROCESS Online Boutique (while supplies last).
Also a digital version of “Hit & Run” is available for download.

To answer the many questions we’ve been receiving, the prints will be FREE. Just bring a garment for us to print on.

You’ve been asking for ‘em and we’ve delivered. We finally did a snapback cap our way. When you see them in person you’ll realize how different these fit and feel when compared to most of the snappys you see in the market. PROCESS “Chief Nokahoma” Snapbacks will be available at Standard on Peachtree on Thursday, August 26th at our Standard x Process Print Shop Event and in the We Are The Process Online Boutique shortly afterwards. Jenny Lewis fans rejoice! She’s back, not with Rilo Kiley, but with a new album recorded with her boyfriend (boo!) Johnathan Rice. Get excited, as 11 summertime jams are coming our way very soon. Much of the album sounds like Jenny Lewis is behind the wheel. However, Committed is the perfect blend of their talents, almost sounding like a modern day Johnny Cash & June Carter minus the alcohol abuse.
The album, I’m Having Fun Now, comes out on August 31st and the duo hit the road on September 1st. Full tour dates available here.

Last week I checked out a new tattoo parlor that recently opened on Ponce de Leon Ave. The former artists from Liberty Tattoo: Bill Conner, Brian Gattis, Chris Howell, Demian Bouchon, Eric Thrice, and Keet D’arms have put their efforts together into a new shop called Southern Star Tattoo. It’s located in the MJQ/Drunken Unicorn parking lot, a familiar place for all you locals.
As soon as you walk into the shop, your eyes are immediately attracted to bright colors and you notice the cleanliness of the shop and amazing artwork covering the walls. These guys put their blood, sweat, and tears into getting this shop up and running in only 2 MONTHS! They are great artists and they deserve the fruits of running this beautiful shop!
Call or stop in for an appointment at Southern Star Tattoo (404) 810-0080
Check out more photos after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
