Tinker Hatfield Designs Oregon’s New Basketball Court

As if his portfolio wasn’t extensive enough, Tinker Hatfield pushes the boundaries with the University of Oregon’s new basketball court design. I’m not surprised one bit with his though process and graphic result. There’s no denying the perks of being a student athlete at Oregon.

I am sorry, but this is really awful. This is a great example of aesthetic over function. I admire Tinker’s work on the Jordan brand and how he used form and ergonomics as a canvas for smart design. I can only imagine playing ball on this thing and how distracting the dark brown woods would be. Mr. Hatfield please use your influence wisely.
