Once a year we have a day where Atlanta shuts down completely. This year, the interweb community has dubbed our snow day, Hothlanta. Pretty creative Star Wars reference!

Here’s a throwaway clip of some of Charlotte’s up and coming skaters. They’re all friends of the shop that we rep, Black Sheep. This clip is just some of their leftover stuff, so be on the lookout for a full clip coming soon with all of their best footage. Featuring: Trey Boyd, Sedale Dotson, Zay Belton, Parrish Moore, Matt Schneider & Curtis Whitehead. Filmed and edited by: Steve Naylor.

This new, web-only album by Gorillaz was recorded over 32 days during their North American Tour in the fall of 2010. The most interesting tidbit about the album is that it was recorded primarily on the iPad. If groups like Gorillaz are harnessing the studio-like capabilities of the iPad now, imagine what creatives will be capable of in a few short years! The entire album, The Fall, is available on the band’s website.

Keep sending in your pics ladies!
