M83 – Midnight City

Midnight City is the new single of M83‘s upcoming double LP, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. Just like their previous effort, Saturdays = Youth, there are a lot of similarities and nods to 80′s inspiration. This new track however blasts off with a zany saxophone solo towards the end. I’m not sure how I feel about it, but I’m sure my babysitter from 1984 would love this track. And what’s with the muppet art? I have no clue. It’s the 80′s bro…

I’ve always been an M83 fan this has a different vibe from Saturdays. The sax at the end didn’t seem out of place though
