Our buddies, Stranger Day & Cristo Disco recently filmed this music video for their collaborative track, Cristo Disco Ball. They were kind enough to fully gear up in PROCESS clothing during their shoot. Enjoy! Warning: Lyrics NSFW!

Our Bombera Street Scarf is now available in the PROCESS Online Boutique and in-town at Standard. Measuring 43″ x 43″ it’s versatile enough to cover your neck in various ways, whether it’s a wintery bike ride or a snooty-holiday party. See more details after the jump. Read more »

Where are you from?
Born in ATL - raised in Raleigh, NC
Who do you work for?
Myself… I’m a saxophonist, singer, and band leader. I also freelance as a hired gun sax man, teach some private lessons, and I’m sponsored by Jupiter Saxophones.
What are your Current Project(s)?
I have two projects of my own - Will Scruggs Jazz Fellowship and CC Booker III feat. Will Scruggs. You can find me around town with KINGSIZED, Cadillac Jones, Lloyd’s Rocksteady Review, and the Soulphonics w/Ruby Velle. I also play in a horn section called the FunderHorns… we’ve recorded with Natalie Cole, Dallas Austin, Cee-Lo and Jermaine Dupri, among others.
Who would you love to work with?
Wow… although I’m a jazz specialist I love many different kinds of music, and I’d love to get outside my genre a bit. Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon are a couple of my biggest musical heroes who are still active. I’d also love to collaborate with someone like Bela Fleck, just from a standpoint of pure creativity of sound. When I was a kid my favorite band was The New Grass Revival (Bela Fleck, John Cowan, Sam Bush). I got to play and record with Cowan this year (he’s appearing on my next CD) but I’ve never met Sam or Bela.
If you had to give all your sneakers away to charity except for one pair, which ones would you keep?
Wow, that’s tough. I ran a PR in the ING Georga Marathon last year in a pair of brown on brown New Balance ZIPs. Definitely the most stylish running shoes I’ve ever owned, plus there’s the sentimental value.
What’s on your iPod right now?
I’m listening to the soundtrack from Rosemary’s Baby… some crazy stuff. Also, Random Abstract by Branford Marsalis and American Song by Andy Bey.
What’s your Favorite ATL food?
Miss Anne’s World Famous Ghetto Burger. Or the smoked wings at Fox Bros. And my really guilty pleasure is Wing and Philly on the corner of Moreland and Memorial (I’ve gotta eat greasy after a long run).
What’s your Favorite ATL hangout?
Blue Frog Cantina dollar tacos - Mon/Tues in East ATL. Or Churchill Grounds on weekends.
What are your Pet Peeves?
Ankle Tendonitis. The BCS. Glenn Beck, Hannity, Rush, and similar haters. Unexpected traffic (it’s not so bad if you’re ready for it, like at rush hour).

CC Booker CD release party Friday Feb. 26th at Eddie’s Attic. Book it!

Begins today! Head over to WeAreTheProcess.com for limited time savings! We’ve never marked down the prices on our gear and we probably won’t do an event like this again for a very long time. Lots of colorways and sizes are available now, but they’ll go fast!

Rehab just released this exclusive remix via their twitter account. I changed the colorway of the single art I created a few weeks back for this track. Falcons throwback helmets anyone???

I saw Picasso’s Guernica in the summer of 1997 at Madrid’s Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía but I never expected to see this masterpiece in this way!

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us at the Big Boi show last night. Here’s a pic of what our booth looked like over at the Gallery at King Plow. We had a blast and look forward to working with Gallery Group Atlanta in the future.

A new color-blocking on an already familiar sticker design just came in. Grab some at Standard on Peachtree, at the Big Boi concert tomorrow, or with all your online orders.

Recently, I was contacted by Brian Francis from GalleryGroupAtlanta.com as he wanted to introduce myself and our readers to a new events venue that’s planning on making waves in the Atlanta music scene. They’re kicking things off at the appropriately named Gallery at King Plow this Friday, November 27th with a HUGE concert featuring Big Boi, Clipse, Yelawolf, and DJ Mayhem.
Stay tuned to our twitter feed (@WeAreTheProcess) to win a pair of free tickets to the show!
I felt it was important to interview Brian about the The Gallery at King Plow. Hopefully this’ll give everyone some perspective on what’s in store for our city’s scene in the near future. Read the interview after the jump! Read more »

Hello everyone! Its been a minute since I have done an “official” Photo Friday post but I got something awesome lined up for you this week. I recently took a trip to Cumberland Island for an awesome camping experience with my girlfriend. I haven’t been camping in quite a while but when you combine perfect weather with camping on a beach you really can’t go wrong. We snapped off quite a few photographs and got a bunch of great ones. If anyone out there is interested in looking into taking your own camping trip at Cumberland Island you can get some more information at their website.

This Friday, at Young Blood Gallery from 6-9, Drive-By Press will be there printing on the spot. Ryan O’Malley & Joseph Velasquez will have over a hundred custom prints for you to choose from. Bring a tee and let them make you an one of a kind tee. They may even let you print it yourself.
After Young Blood, we will be moving the party to El Bar for a few drinks and some great music provided by Brian Parris & Cristo Disco. Mention “Drive-By Press” at the door and get in free.

One of my Portfolio Center students, Eric Dewyngaert, took his project to the next level this week. Here’s a brief explanation of this video according to him:
“A photoshoot undergoing the album packaging design for a Deftones acoustic album cover, The Acoustic Experiment. This is one of the most incredible things Ive ever gotten to do.”
My favorite part of this video is listening to all the people hootin’ and hollerin’ as they congregate around to witness the smashing.

I recently worked with emerging iPhone app developer, Khu.sh, on the branding and interface for their company and it’s new product, LaDida - a reverse karaoke app. You sing, and it makes up the music to accompany your voice. You can choose a genre of music and a tempo for each tune you sing. One of the greatest features of the app is that it allows you to share your tunes on social-networking sites such as facebook and twitter. Future updates will include more music genres and perhaps auto-tune.
This was my first time to work on anything for iPhone, but I found the experience very enjoyable and similar to web design, except you’re dealing with a much smaller canvas.

…but it’s awesome to see the Atlanta Hawks in the #1 spot! They have 3 home games this coming week. Who wants to check out a game or two?

If you pick up a copy of Hoop Mag this month, you’ll notice our line, We Are The Process, featured twice in it’s clothing/fashion section. It’s worth the purchase for ATL’s #27 Zaza Pachulia’s hilarious “fashion police” comments as he rates the leagues best and worst dressers. Thanks to Hoop for puttin’ us on! It’s great to be recognized in a national publication. Check out the page scans after the jump. Read more »
